Baptism in California

In August, we had another Baptism for Mara here in California. She is lucky to have 2 sets of God Parents. My sister and brother had a Baptism with her in June (Ohio).

Shannon is my best friend from Texas and she is a God Mother. Scott is Jason's best friend from grade/high school and he is a God Father. (The group shot pics have all 4 of us)

Our dear friend Joan was able to make it to the Baptism, Mara is just smiling up at her. Isn't that just precious.

The other picture is Scott and his sister Erin, she flew in from Colorado.

Girls Nite Out

While everyone was in town for Mara's Baptism, we were able to have a good friend, Anna come over and give Mommy and Daddy a night out. So, we decided to have "Girls Nite" and "Boys Nite". So, we had limos for each group and off we went. It was so much fun.

Newest toy! Still trying to figure it all out. This was a gift we got at the Baby Shower and just now started using! What a great gift. It has a little birdhouse at the top that plays music and a little bird flys around...oh and not to mention it has lights too!

Mara Playing

Mara playing in her Jumperoo!!! She loves this thing! I can't believe out much she smiles and even LOL!!! It's so amazing. I love to hear her laugh. She makes the cutest little sounds!
She has played so hard. It's funny! She will be jumping around and playing and then all of a sudden she is OUT. It's like a switch turns her off! I just had to take a picture!
Here, she has played so hard that she actually was able to kick her sock off and fall a sleep!

Where Does The Time Go???

Okay, well where does the time go? It's been awhile since we've posted anything.
My cousing Casey flew in from AZ to visit Mara and it's been a whirlwind trip. She was able to spend 8 days with us. The above picture was taken in Hollywood at "Hamburger Hamlet". Mara turned 3 months old that week.

While we had company Mara was quite the little traveller. We went to the LA Garment/ Fashion District, Hollywood, Camarillo Outlet Mall, she even had her 3 month old pictures done. Casey was able to take part in that as well. We even went to Universal Studios and Magic Mountain, my wonderful husbad stayed home w/Mara so "Mommy" could go and be tour guide..Oh and have fun!!!

After Casey left we set out to find a new car. (I will post pictures later this week). We ended up purchasing a new/used Jeep Liberty. It's so cute. Black w/leather interior. I love it, it's so much fun to drive. We got it last Thursday and on Saturday, while I was shopping in Ralph's someone hit the front right bumper, so now I have to turn it into the body shop on Monday. I'm quite upset about that.

Now, we are looking at houses/condos to move into. It's been quite a few weeks! I'll post more later about the housing situation.

Next week, my best friend Shannon will be coming into town to visit and be here for Mara's Baptism.
